About the yarn-dyed fabric:
A. Yarn-dyed fabric means the thread (or yarn) has been dyed first, before weaving. It can be used to make the required fabric.
B. In order to improve the fastness (color bleeding) properties, yarn is dyed in a cheese dyeing machine.
C. These dyed yarns are converted to either woven or knitted fabrics depends upon the end-use.
Most importantly, sewing threads must have excellent strength and good fastness properties. This can be achieved in yarn dyeing.
