Open battery compartment by pushing in button on the back of megaphone just above handle.

Install 4 “C” batteries in the direction shown inside the compartment and close door.

Once batteries are installed, do not depress this button as it will cause the mouthpiece to pop open.

Switch lever on the back of the battery compartment to “Speaker” for normal speaking voice and speak

into microphone just above volume control. Switch lever to siren for siren sound. The red light will be

lit in these modes. Switch lever to close to turn off. To adjust volume, slide lever from left to right to make louder.
