Applications

Prepare the site following local hospital guidelines and allow all preps to dry before dressing application.

Step1

Open packaging and remove dressing. Hold dressing and peel off backing linking marked ‘No.1’.

Step2

Position the dressing with the top of keyhole notch aligned with the catheter. Apply the dressing to skin firmly and carefully pinch it around the tubing connection.Gently lift the tubing conection and press dressing firmly around the catheter. Ensure the insertion site is covered by the transparent film.

Step3

Remove backing liner marked ‘No.2’ and press dressing down firmly. Retain’No.2’ as it has the document tape(name/date) and two additional securing tapes.

Step4

Slowly peel off backing layer marked ‘No.3’ whilst applying pressure to dressing border edge. Carefully smooth over entire dressing to maximise adhesion.

Step5

Apply the securing tape strips over the catheter and/or tubing connection site on top of the dressing. Prepare and apply document(name/date).

Step6

To finish, gently apply firm pressure to the entire dressing to ensure a secure fixation.

Intended Use

Fixing I.V. catheter, PICC and CVC etc.

Fixing anesthesia catheter, pulmonary artery catheter, hemodialysis catheter, kidney dialysis and PCA cannula etc.

Apply for friction skin or wet skin, such as skin care after trachea incision, care for tours of bone, skin care when gatism, bedsore precaution etc.
